Spring is always a wonderful, and hopeful time on the Farm where all the discouragement of winter--frozen water bottles, feeding, watering, and shoveling in thigh deep snow and cold winds--is rewarded with the promise of new life.

At Joybilee Farm, we specialize in the breeding and improvement of French Angora Rabbits, exclusively. We breed to ARBA confirmation standards and colours. We strive to improve wool density and length, as well as selecting for rabbits who handle well for the show table, for pets and spinner's wooler bunnies. Our customers comment on the easy handling of our bunnies, which makes the regular tasks of grooming and fiber harvest a joy.

We breed our French Angora does only once each Spring, and we have a limited supply of babies available. Many of our babies are reserved a year before they are born. If you are hoping to adopt a French Angora Rabbit in Canada, and would like to be notified when babies become available, contact us and we will add your name to our waiting list. We generally ship by Air Canada Live Cargo out of Kelowna to cities in Canada.

If you live in the USA, our rabbits can be taken across the border as pets without an import permit or veterinary certificate. However, you will need to pick them up at Joybilee Farm. The Home Land Security Act has made flying animals as cargo from Canada to the USA difficult for breeders in Canada.

We also make handspun yarn out of our French Angora Rabbit fiber. Angora handspun yarn is exquisitely soft with the spikey halo that angora is famous for. Our handspun angora yarn won't shed like commercial angora yarn, because it is handspun from long, hand groomed fiber.

Strawberry (fawn) was bred with Lavender (lilac) for this litter, already 4 weeks old.

A bit about our pricing policy: Our Pure Bred French Angora bunnies are available at weaning (around 8 weeks) for $95 each. These babies will be ear marked and have full written pure bred pedigree.		.

Why would anyone want to raise French Angora bunnies?	Angora fiber has many therapeutic benefits and is world renowned for its softness and luxury.	Angora yarn is what all those polyester novelty yarns are trying to imitate. But they can't come close to truly capturing the warmth, softness, glamor, and luxury of the real thing.
