| I took a trip to Joybilee Farm yesterday for their Linen Festival. I learned some new things about growing flax. Seeing the flax patch and actually using the flax brake were educational; I learned things that I couldn't learn from a book. I loved their phoenix-crossed chickens and hadn't known that there are 'suri' llamas, too! Miranda's flax seed bread was delicious for breakfast this morning! I look forward to planting Sarah's 'selected' woad seeds and I'm not sure if the walnut and indigo dyed silk scarf will be a gift or if it will be for me! Ian makes some very useful wpi gauges and some awesome wooden crochet hooks. I'll have to get spinning so that I can knit socks using the 'Weaver's Sock Pattern'. The gentle music by Ian and Miranda provided a warm embience while snacking. It all makes me wish I had more pasture for the angora goats, but maybe a fibre rabbit will in my future! Hi. I just got the chamomile shampoo bars today that I
ordered a couple weeks ago and I just wanted to tell you - I
love this shampoo!!! I've been using The Blonde by Lush
for a month or so along with the apple cider vinegar rinse, but my hair
didn't have the body I liked and it was a little dry. I got your
shampoo bars this morning and used it along with the ACV
rinse, a little pure shea butter and vitamin E oil before I dried
it (which I usually do), and my hair has so much body and shine and
just "life" to it, I'm sooo pleased! Your bars are bigger and it
cost less to order two of them with shipping than one Blonde bar,
I am definitely going to reorder. And since I will be placing another
shampoo bar order, I'm going to try a couple of your other products as
well!
I also found out about the SLS and SLES and am avoiding
those products, too.
