Shampoo Bars

Our natural shampoo bars are made with pure food grade vegetable oils, our own farm fresh goat’s milk, and pure botanical oils.  Made without SLS or sodium laureth sulphate, they are good for your hair and good for the environment.   Like all our hand made soaps, they contain naturally occurring vegetable glycerin.   We do not use Palm Oil in our soaps and  shampoo bars.

Our shampoo bars are an economical and environmentally responsible choice.  These concentrated shampoo bars usually last much longer than a 1 litre bottle of name brand shampoo, without the added water, sls, chemicals, coal tar colours,  and excess packaging.  They contain no harsh detergents, no sodium laurel sulphate, no petroleum products, no perfumes..  They are safe for babies and the immune-challenged.   And they are "river friendly".

Our shampoo bars, like our soaps, are made in small batches, hand cut and aged to perfection.  Each 5 oz bar will last a long time if kept dry between uses.  Since our handcrafted shampoo bars are hand cut, weight is approximate.

Directions for Shampoo Bar Use:

 Wet your hair with warm water.  Rub your wet hands on the shampoo bar to create a lather and rub your hands through your hair.  Those with long hair may wish to rub the shampoo bar through their hair, as well as their hands.  Then lather with your hands as you would any shampoo.  Rinse with plain warm water.  Repeat lathering.  Rinse again.  Allow shampoo bar to dry between uses.

We recommend rinsing your hair with diluted cider vinegar (1 tbsp in a cup of warm water) at least once a week, and then rinsing again with clear water.  It will leave your hair soft, shiny and clean.

SLS free - Rosemary and Mint Shampoo Bar

Recommended for dark hair.

Made with goat’s milk, olive oil, castor and jojoba oils, coconut oil, with Rosemary and mint essential oils and silk, from wild tussah silk, the vegan silk.  Silk protein adds moisturizing properties and gives a silky, luxurious lather.
This is bar is rich in natural conditioners, so no added conditioners are necessary.

SLS free - Chamomile Shampoo Bar

Recommended for fair hair.

Made with goat’s milk, olive oil, castor and jojoba oils, coconut oil, with chamomile infusion, organic calendula oil and lemon essential oil, with added silk protein, from wild tussah silk, the vegan silk.  Silk protein adds moisturizing properties and gives a silky, luxurious lather.
This bar is rich in natural conditioners, so no added conditioners are necessary.

Our exclusive Spa Bar is a soap and wash cloth in one.  It is perfect for the shower or bath.  Our Spa Bar has an exfoliating layer of hand dyed, medium grade wool, hand felted arounded a large bar of Joybilee Farm Goat's Milk Soap (varieties vary), for its moisturizing and rejuvenating cleansing.

Natural Body Care Products:


All our natural body care products begin with food grade pure vegetable oils, pure natural beeswax, and real botanical oils.  Whenever possible we choose organic or wildcrafted oils and flower blossoms, as a basis for our own botanical oils.  However, our products are not "certified organic".  All of our products are "family tested" but none are tested on animals.  Nor have the individual ingredients in our products ever been tested on animals.    These products are for cosmetic use only and not intended as a pharmaceutical. 
Special Blend:  Men's Soap



Our all purpose soap designed exclusively for the special needs of men.  This soap lathers profusely for shampooing, shaving, and general washing.  One soap for all your needs.  Made with real essential oil of sandalwood, lavender, teatree, bergamot, and lemon.  A fabulous and attractive fragrance for men.  Many women like it, too.

Moisturizing goat’s milk, jojoba and castor oils, coconut oil, olive oil, organic calendula and St. Johns Wort Oils,  lavender, tea tree, lemon, bergamot, and sandalwood essential oils.  Leaves your skin soft, smooth and moisturized.  Will even promote healing of small nicks and scratches.  Rinse with tepid water for shaving.  For shampooing rinse with diluted vinegar, once a week, to give your hair that healthy shine.

Comes in a new, larger 5 oz. concentrated bar like our shampoo bars.  The rectangular bar will fit into a shaving mug.  Lasts an incredibly long time and makes luxurious lather.

Certified Organic Hemp seed oil, Calendula oil, St. Johns Wort Oil for their healing and restoring properties, plus Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter and Bee’s Wax.   Natural source vitamin E is used as a preservative.  Lavender Oil and Tea Tree Oil are added for their antibacterial and healing properties.  This contains no added colour, no petroleum products, no titanium dioxide, no petrolatum, or mineral oil.

We are getting rave reviews for our Hemp Seed Oil Eye Cream.  Extra rich and moisturizing, this cream begins with food grade Certified Organic Hemp Seed Oil, which is readily absorbed into your skin and known to fight free radical damage.  We  add to that olive oil, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil and beeswax, with the essential botanical oils of lavender St. John's Wort and calendula blossoms.  Natural source vitamin E is added as a preservative.  A very gentle and extra rich eye cream which is readily absorbed into your skin.  May be used as a facial cream as well.

 This is the same formula as our Helping Hand Balm, with the added moisturizing, and anti-aging effects of pure food grade certified organic hemp seed oil.  Hemp seed oil is readily absorbed by the skin and helps to fight free radical damage.  Our soothing balms can be used on hands, face, lips, and feet.

Peppermint Foot Creme
Peppermint Foot Balm   

 Olive oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Bee's Wax, Tea Tree Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, and Peppermint Essential Oil, make this refreshing, invigorating moisturizer for those hard working feet.  Olive Oil is readily absorbed into your feet, to soothe rough, cracked skin and no one can have too much chocolate!!!!!

Should not be used near the eyes, due to the peppermint essential oil, which will make your eyes water.   This is also a great massage cream for tired, sore muscles, or aching joints.  It smells heavenly--like chocolate peppermint patties.
