Our ribbons are high quality, 100% silk ribbons in 32 mm and 3 mm widths. They are special because they are hand dyed. Irregularities withing the yardage are intentional and are part of the inherent beauty of hand dyed ribbon. Colours will vary within each dyelot but you can confidently match ribbons and yarns within our colourways to make a harmonious project. If you require greater yardage within a dyelot, than what we have available please contact us. We may be able to dye enough yardage in yarn, roving or ribbon to meet your special project requirements.

Silk is a luxurious fiber, renowned for its softness, resilience, dye takeup, lustre and electrostatic properties. It is a very special trim for clothing, makes wonderful trim for dried floral decoration. It is used as hair ribbon, silk ribbon embroidery, applique, quilting, jewelery, kumihimo braiding, scrapbooking, weaving, crochet, as embellishment for felting and silk paper or silk fusion. Some clever fiberartists even knit with it!
